What can a fixed annuity do for you?
Guaranteed growth at a set rate
Opportunity to produce a guaranteed stream of income you cannot outlive
Full protection of principal from market loss
How do fixed annuities work?
Fixed annuities provide tax-deferred growth at a fixed rate of interest set for a predetermined amount of time. Fixed annuities allow you to make two choices based on your needs and preferences.
Choose how much you want to save
Initial Premium amounts range from $5,000 to $1 million.
Choose how long you’d like to save your money
You can select either a three-, five- or seven-year term period. Your annuity includes a Withdrawal Charge period that is equal to the Term Period.
Earn a guaranteed interest rate
Interest is credited to your annuity with either a Multi-Year Fixed Strategy or a 1-Year Fixed Strategy.
- The interest rate for the Multi-Year Fixed strategy is guaranteed for the Term Period you choose.
- The 1-Year Fixed Strategy is used to credit interest to any Additional Premium. The interest rate is set when you purchase your annuity and is guaranteed for one year. A Renewal Interest Rate is set every year on your Contract Anniversary.
