Competitive rates

Initial premium will earn a guaranteed fixed rate of interest for the term period chosen. Additional premiums earn interest at a rate set annually. 

Flexible premiums

 

  • First year premium: $5,000 - $1 million. Higher amounts available with company approval. 

  • Additional premiums: Starting at $1,000 up to $100,000 per year ($10,000 maximum per year in NY). 

Walkaway product

No automatic renewal in a multi-year strategy at the end of the withdrawal charge period.

Access to money when it's needed most

 

  • Free withdrawals: up to 10% of the full Accumulated Value (as of the most recent Contract Anniversary) beginning in the first contract year.1 

  • Withdraw up to 100% for qualifying confinement and terminal illness. Waivers/Benefits available after the first Contract Year.2 
  • Multiple annuity payout options.3

Athene MYGSM ROP

All the benefits and product features of Athene MYG, plus a Return of Premium guarantee for even more liquidity.5 

The Return of Premium benefit provides your clients with protection from unpredictable circumstances in exchange for lower interest crediting rates than Athene MYG. Choosing this benefit allows clients to surrender the annuity at any time during the Withdrawal Charge period and receive the Initial Premium plus any Additional Premium, less any prior withdrawals.6 

1 Withdrawals and surrender may be subject to federal and state income tax and, except under certain circumstances, will be subject to an IRS penalty if taken prior to age 59½. Withdrawals are not credited with index interest in the year they are taken. Withdrawals in excess of the free amount are subject to a Withdrawal Charge and MVA (if applicable) which may result in the loss of principal.

3 Once the contract is annuitized, the payment schedule and the amount are fixed and can’t be altered. Payment will be based on the annuity’s Cash Surrender Value and the Settlement Option chosen.
