Athene Aviator^TM Strategy Allocation Tool

 This tool provides hypothetical examples. The purpose of this tool is to visualize how your allocations may look depending on the inputs selected. The tool uses current strategies and indexes which may be subject to change, and is not intended to predict actual performance, nor is it intended to accurately represent the product's full features and benefits.

This hypothetical visualization tool is dependent upon the inputs provided and assumes no withdrawals that would otherwise reduce the annualized rate of return. The hypothetical visualization tool does not capture, and is not intended to show, the effect of any Index Lock.

The contractual default is for all strategies to transfer into 1-year strategies at the end of the Withdrawal Charge period.

You may select up to 100% of any option, including across Strategy Preset, Diversified Blend Strategies, and any number of available individual optional indices.

Diversified Blend: Diversified Blend varies your allocations across three available strategies consistent with your selected time horizon.

Withdrawal Charge: A Withdrawal Charge in accordance with the rate schedule will apply to surrenders or amounts withdrawn in excess of the Free Withdrawal amount for Athene Aviator as follows. State variations apply.

• For Aviator 5: 9%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 0%
• For Aviator 10: 10%, 9%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1%, 0%

Free Withdrawals. This annuity allows you to withdraw a portion of the Accumulated Value each Contract Year without a Withdrawal Charge or Market Value Adjustment. Withdrawals and surrender may be subject to federal and state income tax and, except under certain circumstances, will be subject to an IRS penalty if taken prior to age 59½.

Market Value Adjustment (MVA). An MVA is applied to the portion of a withdrawal or surrender that exceeds the Free Withdrawal amount during the Withdrawal Charge Period. The MVA may increase or decrease the amount of the Withdrawal or Cash Surrender Value of your Contract. If interest rates have increased, the MVA will be negative. If interest rates have decreased, the MVA will be positive. 

Accumulated Value: The Accumulated Value of the contract at any time is equal to the sum of each Strategy Value.

Strategy Value: Strategy Value is the sum of all premium allocated to all selected Strategies, including any interest calculations, less Withdrawals of any type deducted from the Strategy. 

Indexed annuities are not stock market investments and do not directly participate in any stock or equity investments. Market indices may not include dividends paid on the underlying stocks, and therefore may not reflect the total return of the underlying stocks; neither an Index nor any market indexed annuity is comparable to a direct investment in the equity markets.
