Athene Life Re Names Natasha Scotland Courcy Chief Executive Officer

HAMILTON, Bermuda – April 14, 2023 – Athene Life Re Ltd (ALRe) the reinsurance subsidiary of Athene Holding Ltd., today announced the appointment of Natasha Scotland Courcy to Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. She will continue to oversee the Bermuda office and drive the design and implementation of business operations and policies that promote the company’s culture.

Scotland Courcy has over 20 years of experience as a corporate attorney, including over a decade with ALRe, where she most recently served as general counsel and chief operating officer. She also serves as Chair of Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR), the association representing the long-term insurers and reinsurers in Bermuda.

In addition to her promotion, Brad Molitor has been named President and remains the Group’s Chief Actuary. Molitor previously served as Athene Bermuda Chief Financial Officer. Fergus Daly will continue as Chief Financial Officer, Athene Life Re.
