Athene Holding Ltd. ("Athene Holding," and together with its subsidiaries, "Athene") today announced it has received approval from the Iowa Insurance Division ("IID") of its acquisition of Aviva USA Corporation and its subsidiaries, including Iowa-domiciled Aviva Life and Annuity Company. Athene Holding's acquisition of Aviva USA is expected to close in the early fourth quarter of 2013.
