Marlene Fox-McIntyre, our Principal, has 15 years of military, government, and commercial experience. She played major roles in the Navy CAD/CAM II Project, where she directed research at the Department of Commerce and Univerity of Wyoming. She went on to design and manage the installation of fiber optic networks for Navy ships and shore facilities. Ms. Fox-McIntyre is a former officer in the United States Army Reserve.

Ms. Fox-McIntyre has managed Athene, Inc. since 1993. Under her direction and guidance we have continued to build a loyal client base across industry, nonprofit organizations, educational facilities, and government. Her close ties with the military, and the Navy in particular, have given the company an advantage in understanding and meeting the needs of professional and nonprofit organizations. She has contributed chapters to The Nonprofit Handbook: Management 1998 and 1999 editions.

Ms. Fox-McIntyre is a proud mom, and in her spare time supports her favorite charitable organizations, and sings with her church choir.

Mr. Howard Sartori our Senior Engineer, has more than 25 years of military, government, international, and commercial experience. He accepted early retirement from ARCO Oil and Gas Company in 1985. Since then, he served as Director, Information Technology for the Naval Sea Systems Command. He played important roles in several national and international telecommunications standards organizations as a State Department delegate to the Geneva Conventions.

Mr. Sartori holds a Texas Professional Engineer license. He is a Naval Engineer, with the rank of Captain, USNR. He was awarded Presidential Meritorious Service Medals for U. S. Navy CAD/CAM and internet technology achievements, and the Federal Agency Award, 1995. Memberships include Order of the Engineer, and American Society of Naval Engineers.

Mr. Sartori successfully implements information systems built on the cornerstones of standards, appropriate technology and business systems engineering, with critical attention to the details of systems integration. The results are improved productivity and lower operating costs over the life cycle of the system.

Mr. Christian Solem is our Lead Web Developer. He has in-depth expertise on the management and special needs of non-profit organizations, particulary charitable nonprofi ts. Mr. Solem specializes in original website design; advanced graphics, including animated and special effects graphics; JavaScript; Perl; multimedia tools such as ShockWave, and streaming video.

He currently is the chair of the Lutheran Volunteer Corps national steering committee, and was recently honored for his ongoing internet support to the Naval Order Of The United States. Mr. Solem also has many years of experience in business management.

Mr. Solem has two adorable children and is married to the love of his life. Way to go!

Ms. Dixie Kirby specializes in database and web development, with experience in in Domino,Visual Basic, Access, SQL, and Javascript. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech and West Virginia University, with degrees in biochemistry and medical technology. Her 15 years of experience as a medical technologist in both physician's office and hospital settings brings to our team a unique understanding of the information management needs of health care professionals.

Ms. Kirby is an active member of Plymouth Haven Baptist Church, where she serves on the finance committee, transition team, and as the charter representative for Cub Scout Pack 888. She and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters and a son.
